Description:


As a Junior Java Developer, you would be responsible for development and implementation of design specifications provided by a Senior Software Engineer. You would be a member of an agile team, learning to estimate and complete assigned software development tasks.


Qualifications:

• Conducts technology and design trade-off analyses to inform key design decisions 
• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Have a willingness to experiment with disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between.
• Assist in troubleshooting software application issues
• Assist with application installation and testing.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related.
• Internship or 6 months+ relevant work experience.
• Proven web development experience: JQuery, JQuery UI, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• 3+ years' of experience with programming in Java 
• Experience developing front end technologies 
• Proficient in J2EE, Struts 2.0, Spring, Hibernate, backbone, marionette, bootstrap twitter, require JS.
